WHERE 1850 Industrial Circle, Longmont, CO
Parks and Open Space (POS) will present their Cropland Policy (allows GMOs on Open Space) to the Boulder County Board of County Commissioners.
Public Comment is Allowed!
WHY Join other Bounder County citizens in supporting “ The Citizen’s Cropland Policy” and in telling our Commissioners we OPPOSE the POS policy and demand
NO GMOs ON OPEN SPACE
Special request/instructions: Please insure that you are at the venue and in the meeting room at 7:00pm. The first hour, from 6:00 – 7:00, will be the Parks and Open Space presentation of their policy followed by citizen comment. When citizen comment begins, one of the first speakers will ask;
“All that support a ban of GMOs on Open Space please stand up.”
We need ALL OF US to be there, in the room, standing together when this announcement is made. We want to create an image that will burn forever in our Commissioners psyche and that is so powerful, it cannot be ignored.
i have been gathering signatures and wonder where to hand in the pages? i have handed them in at the wednesday farmer’s market in the past but have not seen anyone there in a while. let me know and thanks! i will at the nov 15 meeting
